Discord Graphics Issue

I no longer have graphical issues after following these steps from the good people over at Discord support:

Now everything is back to normal once again!

Hi, so I've just ran into an issue where my Discord doesn't seem to want to show some icons, namely the friends tab in the top left, the server options in the top right, and several server icons.

 

If I press on my own icon in the bottom left, it won't bring up the menu either, same applies for if I click into anybody else's name.

 

I've tried

  • Restarting my PC
  • Testing my router connection
  • Re-installing Discord
  • Disabling & enabling hardware acceleration

I've only just noticed it now so I don't suppose it may just be a temporay bug on Discord's side which will be solved in a future update? But if that were the case, my laptop would also have the same problem, when it doesn't.

Also, tin-foil hat time, but could this be related to my previous issues relating to my deteriorating GPU?

Interesting I tried web browser Discord and everything appears fine...

probably a bug then... or a corruption in the program. just report it and use the browser version, it's fine for me

 

btw, off topic, but if you have some time, I have a discord with a couple members here, you're more than allowed to join
