1-1 Modular PSUs?

Hi guys, getting into sleeving now and was looking for a 1-1 psu (XFX and their double cables D: )

So I was wondering if the AX760i was a 1-1 pin out.

 

Also, what's the difference between the RM and AXi series other than reliability and efficiency? Will it make that much of a real-world difference?

No, it isn't. The only one that I can think of that may have 1-1 would be something from Silverstone.

Here's the pinout for the AX860I, 1200I, and AX760I.

 

 

I'm not too sure if I've ever really dealt with 1-1. Guess I have some research ahead of me...

Pretty much no PSU on the market has a 1 to 1 pinout, maybe something from Silverstone, but they on the other hand sometimes use caps on their cables which you will either have to remove or live with.

But PSU's like the AX and RM series only have a single split cable.

The PCI-e connectors are pretty much allways 6+2 connectors (including the ones of the AX760i). Two of them split right at the end of the connector.

 

If you want very clean runs I'd recommend sleeving just the 6 1-1 cables of a 6+2 pin and leave out the spliters and then buy an 8-pin extension cables, which you will then sleeve aswell.

No, the 24pin is the same as the AX /AXi series.

awww man. maybe i'll just buy an rm or ax and live with the split cables. (better than 5 xfx split cables)

anyone knows the difference between rm and ax?
