GPU Driver issue

Alright so I’ve scoured this forum as well as a few others to find a solution to my problem and honestly at this point I’ve kind of lost hope. I bought an RX570 off eBay and it worked right away. I went to install drivers for it because windows didn’t recognize it and accidentally let windows install it’s own drivers for my gpu and now every time I go to install AMD’s drivers I complete the process and get an error message saying something like no drivers installed or the driver isn’t working properly, etc.

So, as per many suggestions on here and elsewhere, I downloaded DDU and used it (in safe mode) to no avail. Twice I uninstalled drivers using DDU and both times I went to reinstall the AMD drivers and same issue appeared again. I’m really honestly bummed out and kinda pissed because of how many hours I’ve spent doing this to get nothing. I really hope someone can help.

Personally I'd just reinstall windows. Get a clean start, it often helps. Just make sure your backup is up to date.

I'd try the card in a different system first.

That’s kinda where I’m at. It’s a fairly new PC, I only built it about a month ago so it’s not like I’m going to lose a crapload of data. Plus almost everything I have are just apps and games anyway.

I would if I had another system to try it in. Unfortunately I only have the one desktop.
