So, I would like to not have to get a new case, sata cables, and a pcie wireless adapter which is an alternative to my problem. So here's the problem. My GPU runs HOT. Like we're talking 86 C at times because i popped it into a old prebuilt that mounts the PSU and GPU right next to each other. So i'm wondering if I could find a solution to this without having to spend $60 which is what it would take for the other solution. Is there anything I can do like an external GPU of some kind with PCIe extension cables or something?

Depends really, you could go LTT style and get some zip ties, fans and tin snips.

Could something like this work at all? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812423198&Description=pci-e riser cable&cm_re=pci-e_riser_cable-_-12-423-198-_-Product

Although this would work, it would be terrible for gaming since it coverts to 1X, these are designed for Mining GPU's, not Gaming

Oh I see, I've seen a few empty external GPU enclosures on ebay. Could I perhaps buy one of those and pop my current GPU in it or is that not how they work?

Could you provide an example?

So, there are external GPUs such as this one. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA8X58NK4046&Description=external gpu enclosure&cm_re=external_gpu_enclosure-_-9SIA8X58NK4046-_-Product. I've seen enclosures of them online(cant find them right now) but if  I found one of an empty version could that work?

Unfortunately, I dont think you have the port that is required for this on your motherboard
