I currently have an XPS 8300 THX TruStudio pc. I'm currently running 16GB RAM (manual says that's the max supported), i5-2310 @ 2.9GHz 4 core, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, 1TB Seagate hard drive @ 7500 rpm, and 460W power supply. I've had this computer since it was new and it has been very reliable. I've heard, even though the manual says max supported memory is 16GB, that it will support 32GB. I want to upgrade this computer to it's full potential. Has anyone done any testing or upgrades on this computer further than what the manual says is supported? Motherboard is Dell 0Y2MRG. Any help to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

An SSD is going to be a way more impactful upgrade than 32GB of RAM.

Dell motherboards are proprietary, so it's hard to say unless you find someone who has tried it. If you have any 8GB DDR3 sticks, you can also pop one in and see.

Edit: seems possible:
