Headset mic not working

Hi my headset mic is not working i was wondering if anyone could help my headset is a turtle beach recon 320

Can you be more specific, have you tried any debugging steps?
Are there in-line volume buttons, per chance does it have a mute mic button you pressed by mistake?

My mute mic button is off

This model has a removable Mic yes? If so, is it plugged in properly, is the port clean? Did you rip it out at some point, have you ripped out the connector by mistake at any points on the cable?

my mic is removable but nothing as happened to it. I can hear my gameplay just cant chat

What does windows sound settings say? Does it show up in there under recording? Also, please quote people in your replies so it notifies us when you respond!
