Budget PC for solidworks

My friend and I are studying Mechanical Engineering and he wants a PC to do some work on it. What would be good core components such as CPU and GPU, for Solidoworks and Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS). Oh yeah, he's like on a pretty low budget of around $500 and maybe a bit over. We need some suggestions from you guys. Thank you!
