SMART TV ASSISTANCE !!!!!!

Hi...
How's life?

 

So here's the problem. I have a Smart TV with a cable connection and it hs two kinds of channels on its menu. ATV and DTV channels. The ATV channels are all open but the DTV ones have a key displayed on their sides and are all locked.

 

The DTV ones had gotten unlocked a few days ago after another person in at my house said that she simply did autotune, but they all got locked again by themselves automatically after a day or two. And the autotune can't seem to get them back again.

 

Any ideas????

This seems like something you need either an HD antenna for, or pay for a cable service with a DTV box. Do you have either of those? Personally, it looks like you need to pay for a DTV service from a cable company. In my area, we use a large HD antenna on our house and only get a few channels, but they come in MUCH clearer than our cable company could ever deliver (and that's because all the shit is run underground and no one wants to dig it up and replace it, so we're fucked here. same with internet).

So you already pay for a cable service? Then you should have those digital channels (assuming the infrastructure is there), especially if you have a set top box. You may need to contact your cable provider then. I can't find much about the digital channels being locked/disabled.
