Hello, I have to replace a FFC cable on a laptop. The problem is that i'm having trouble finding the exact cable. The cable I need is an e308724 AWM 20798 30 pin 150 mm wide .5mm pitch. The length is 5.5 inches but it can be longer.  What I was wondering is can I choose something that has one of those numbers identical but the other one not? Like say if I find a cable that is AWM 20798 but not E308724 or vice-versa but has the same characteristics, would that be okay? It's for a bridge between the mobo and the secondary one.

I'm not an expert in FFC cables and I haven't found a link that explains what the model numbers mean (if there's even a meaning). If you have a good link, please share!

thanks
