Egpu connectivity issues

Hello, 

I am trying to use the Gigabyte 1070 gaming box for my hp Envy 360x laptop which supports egpus’ when I plug in the thunderbolt 3.0 it says this device has a limited connection. Please share all questions comments and concerns.

Are you using an active TB3 cable (like the one included in the box)?

Correct I am using the one the box came with
