Need help with new CPU

Hello, I hope you're having a wonderful day. I wanted to ask if I need to update my BIOS before I switch out the CPU (planning on upgrading my CPU) as I read on certain pages you need to update your BIOS and some pages where they say you do not need to update BIOS so I have decided to go and ask here. 

Specs : Motherboard : ASUS TUF Pro Gaming B360
BIOS Version : 0402, 02/22/2018, American Megatrands
Current CPU : i5-8400
Planning on buying : i7-8700
