Remote access plex with reverse ssh tunnel

Recently I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtuAdk4MwWw by tinkernut showing how you can use a reverse ssh proxy using https://serveo.net/ to forward a local web server to the internet.

 

I decided to give this a try with plex. My results where I was able to successfully access the main home screen and login but video playback failed and the remote connection feature on plex gave an inaccessible err. Is their a way to make these two services work with each other without opening any ports on a router?
