Are vertical GPU setups, really as bad as people say in terms of thermals? I know it depends on a whole bunch of stuff like what case, what GPU, what cooling the gpu has, what your room temps are and shit.

But in MY use case, I plan to use the Corsair Carbide SPEC 06 case, and an Asus GTX 1070 dual GPU. I like my room to be on the chilly side anyway sp its never super warm in here. So long as the GPU dosnt thermal throttle and/or damage itself under load im not too bothered about temps as long as the system is stable and safe.
