PC won't shut down

Hi all,

 

I bought a new GPU and sold my old one to a friend of mine (a 1060 6gb from Gigabyte). Everything seems to work smoothly with temperatures being as expected and performance also good. However since we installed the new GPU and updated the drivers he hasn't been able to power off his PC. Whenever he tries to, the PC will stop sending stuff to the monitor, but it won't actually shut down the system unless you hard stop it by holding the power button.

Any ideas?

Try clearing the CMOS. Quick google search came up with the same issue and it was just the guys bugged CMOS. I'm sure the motherboard manual or a quick google search can tell you how to cear the cmos on his particular board. Let me know if that fixes the issue!
