I am also having this problem but the computer name changes from time to time.  It does not show up in my router IP tables or Connected MAC addresses.  My different computers are also showing different names all from amazon.  Is there a way to find out what these are and if than can be blocked from the network?

If you have WPS enabled on the router I have seen suggestions this can cause those devices to periodically show up on the network, even though they are technically not connected.

Turning off WPS would prevent it.

If you are going to edit posts to inform people what they posted was against the terms of the forum, could you at least explain verbose what that person did wrong?

I'm guessing you mean link only posts are forbidden (due to the fact they can become invalid years down the line), but being specific would help prevent me making the mistake again in the future.

I feel like there's a missing post since the first one starts off "me too". Unless this unknown device tries to use the gateway/router you won't see an ARP entry. Best to either ping it from a different subnet to force it, or check the ARP entries at the switch. You could also try looking up the OUI of the MAC.
