RGB strip issues

Hi, i am having an issue with my RGB strips where they take about half an hour after the pc turns on for them to turn on. they dont function at all until they turn back on. I went on holidays last week and turned my pc off from its power supply and un plugged it just to be safe, when i came home a few days ago this issue has been happening everytime i turn it off and turn it back on again. I have re-plugged the controller and still no fix. the strips are deepcool 350 i believe. My PSU is a 600w Thermaltake TR2. I know its not a good PSU however these strips never acted at like this for the past year or so i have had them. I am also aware of a bios update and unsure if that would fix it. Any help is appreciated, i am sending my PC in for a case swap on friday and will probably wait but just want to know if i need a replacement or not. Thanks!
