It's not finding my fans (granted, this is a Dell PE Server, a T310) so I'm going to assume if SF doesn't see it, no other program is going to? Or are there solid alternatives to SF?

The only alternative ive ever found is a program called Argus Monitor. I have purchased a license myself and it works perfectly with no issues for the 2 systems I have it on.

You can try with Argus, I guess. But other than that, there aren't many alternatives. There's few hardware controllers (NZXT, Corsair and third I don't ever remember). I fear that software ones are no go. Either your mobo lacks controller chips for other headers beside CPU or they aren't supported at all since they are only used in Dells OEM boards.

It's no surprise to me, given it's a server that's been re-purposed into a desktop experimental box. If I keep it, I may go with a dedicated controller board, assuming the BIOS doesn't spaz out
