i heard they are basically the same card and cooling plus noise is very close. I heard EVGA costumer support is better. I can get the gigabyte version for $680 with a promo code, so is it worth paying $200 more for better costumer support and a slightly better care.

They both likely have the same binned chip in them so the major difference will likely be the factory overclock. For that price, go with the Gigabyte card IMO.

Performance and noise should be very close, and they should both work very similarly? I’m not familiar with newegg, but if the card is defective (I’ve heard some are) then I can get a refund right?

do you know the difference between the factory OC? they loomk the same.

the Gigabyte card is up to 1830 out of the box while the EVGA one is up to 1860.

I shouldn’t notice a 30 MHZ difference right? Also is the first part of my question true?

Usually if there is something wrong with the card the manufacture would rather you RMA with them then go back through your e-tailer.

Oh makes sense. I’m just worried I’d be sacrificing something with the big price difference. I want a quiet stable card for as long as possible. I shouldn’t be worried about sacrificing anything if I get the cheaper card?

Also would you happen to know if gigabyte customer service good?
