For the last half year or so I have had a lot of issues with system stability. Hard freezes while gaming, where none of my inputs are registered, but then unfreezes after 1-2 seconds as well as some micro stuttering. Another problem I am having is that on my first boot after the computer was sleeping or shutdown for a couple hours, the computer stutters and hangs when doing simple tasks. The solution to this, which usually fixes it, is to simply restart he computer as the initial boot seems to just not start properly. I have tried everything I can think of to solve these issues, updating, uninstalling, reinstalling, disabling different devices, reinstalling windows entirely, uninstalling different apps, switching power profiles and probably a couple other things that I have now forgotten about. Out of desperation, I recently downloaded an app called Reimage Repair which found a bunch of errors which I have attached as an .xml file. The app offers to repair it for 20 Euros, but if I could solve these issues without paying that I would obviously do that.

Thanks in advance!

My computer is a custom build:

The problem may just be that Hdd, although i'm not really that experienced with multi-drive configs. You could try just running the system off just the ssd and see if that fixes it and vice versa

Do i Recommend Ryzen? Yes. All of the Yes.

Main Rig Specs - BIG BOI

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9Ghz

ASUS Gaming TUF B450 Micro-ATX

That doesn't make sense tbh. The games I play are on the SSD so when I am playing games, the HDD isn't even in use.

If the Hdd isn't even in use then it wouldn't hurt to try.

I have run a drive diagnostic tool on it and it was fine.

Try Re-seating the Ram. That might solve your issue

I have tried that a couple times as well as switching to the other two dim slots and reversing them.

Make sure all of your Drivers are up to date, also try updating the Bios. If none of that works you could try re-installing windows. Also check you disk usage in task manager. See if anything in particular is sucking up disk usage

Sorry lol, Forgot that you said you re-installed windows tbh but your Op never says anything about trying to update the Bios. Also you could try installing windows on the Hdd and run the pc off just that to perhaps see if your Ssd is dying

Might be worth a shot, but honestly, I think my mobo is dying as my LAN port doesn't work anymore for some odd reason despite showing up as working properly in device manager.

Maybe there are some bent pins or bad contact to pins? This has been happening since you assembled the system correct?

No, I built the system 4 years ago, this has been happening for the last couple of months, no bent pins I am aware of.

Huh, i mean if you don't care you could try re-seating the Cpu, but i don't blame ya if you don't since it's kinda a pain in the ass

There is no good reason to do that TBH, I haven't touched it since I first installed it and it was working fine up until these issues occurred

Your precise description is similar to problems we faced with our system. To avoid the instability, with the restart, we disconnected the PC from the power, unplug the graphics and then reattach. We never updated the bios. We also had the problem to installing a M2 NMVE,  Samsung 960 evo, so we decided to maintain the configuration, and do not add the M2, with an ssd and a HDD por storing files and other information. After the start we decide will be better to keep the pc running all time, several times the system handled very well power outages., that were frequent on the first years of life. around 10 per year. We had some but very few blue screens, more probably related to the direct X and other issues, when using the windows 7 latter we did make the transition to windows 10. Because the need to run more updated software. And the system keep running with very good stability, apart the problem with the start, that could be sometimes not successful. My son was quite successful handling with those issues.

But finally the board is dead due a power outage. we are trying to repair or buy a second hand motherboard  could be an option.

Which board would be a good option? I am thinking in asus z97 or another that could give some extra 4 ou 5 years?
