HELP!!!!
im a new pc builder and im upgrading my old pc that a work friend built for me before i became a pc gamer, the original specs for the pc are as follows; msi b150m bazooka motherboard, intel core i5 6400, kingston hyperX fury 8gb ddr4 (x2), samung 850 evo series 250gb ssd, 2tb western digital hdd caviar green gp intellipower sataii, microsoft 10 home 64 bit, samsung dvd rw dual layer sata, some silverstone case and corsair psu cx480. i upgraded my case to a deepcool tesseract no problem then upgraded the psu to a cooler master mwe bronze 650 watts, yet again no problem. then the gpu, i bought an msi rx 580 armour 8g oc and connected it to my pc using the 6+2 pci-e connector but when the gpu is connected the pc will boot up but the monitor displays nothing. i tryed a hdmi and vga cords on 2 different monitors and still no signal but when i unplug the gpu the pc works fine. im thinking of returning the gpu for a new one or is something else the problem. please help!!!

  • Plug the monitor back into the motherboard
  • Boot into bios
  • In over to the advanced tab and select "Integrated Graphics Configuration"
  • Change this to "PCI-Express Graphics Device"
  • Save and exit
  • Power down
  • Plug monitor into GPU
  • Power up
  • Profit
