So, I have about $400 dollars to spend on upgrading my PC (And maybe more if I sell my 1060 on ebay). There are points of my PC that are mid to low end, and my choices are:

1. Get 8 more gigs of RAM to make it 16.

2. Sell my 1060 for around $100 and get a 1070, or wait for either the Nvidia 1160/70

3. Wait until Ryzen 5 3600 comes out, and upgrade my weak CPU (Ryzen 3 1300X @3.7) Yes, very trash overclock, unstable at 3.8 or higher.

4. Get a new monitor that is G-Sync certified.

I pretty much exclusively use my PC for games, but I'll use blender and Vegas occasionally.

Here's my entire setup

1. Definitely, you should, having 16GB of RAM will likely to benefit you in most games, and in some cases, a lot.

2. If you still have money, wait, the 1160/70 will probably be a better deal than the 1070, seeing that the 2060 already is.

3. Either this or 2, and frankly, I'd choose this.

4. Having G-Sync will only help if you are experiencing stuttering or tearing, are you?

No, but with the upgrade to 120 or 144hz, I feel like my PC might benefit from Gsync, because im not sure of its abilities to stay at 144hz constantly on the settings I want.

You cannot see the monitor's refresh rate on pcpartpicker, so I assumed it was above 100, but if this is not the case, then that is most certainly the upgrade you should get.

From my poopy monitor? Nahh, more like 60hz 1080p and very inaccurate colors, so ok.

I looked over the gsync certified monitors by Nvidia and found this one, I think its the best deal.

Ill buy this, and wait for ryzen 3000 to come out and hopefully buy the Ryzen 5 2600 at a lower price.

So I decided on my monitor, ill get that soon.

But, with the leftover money, I want to buy a ryzen CPU.

So, should I buy a used CPU, so that I can get a Ryzen 5 2600x or better for the money leftover.

Should I get a ryzen 5 1600x or wait for ryzen 3000 to come out, so that I can get the 2600x for my pricerange.

Or, should I get a ryzen 5 3600 or 3 3300x when ryzen 3000 is available (Do you know if 3000 will use the same chipset, as in I can update my bios on my older board to support the newer chip? Otherwise, I dont want to upgrade my mobo, and ill just go with the 2600x that my mobo can support)
