PC upgrade for streaming

Hey!

I just saw the amd stream but I got no patience to wait ~5 months. So I need some advice for streaming and gaming, I plan to play: overwatch, cod4, bfV and some more.

This is my current build:

i5 6500

Gigabyte H110M-S2H

16gb ddr4 2133MHz

CX550M

GTX 1060 3gb

When I try to stream I get a huge bottleneck from my cpu so right now I am using my GPU for encoding.

i don’t want to spend a huge amount of

money so I think getting a i7 is the best option at the moment? W

What do you guys think and what are your recommendations?

thanks!

Frosty

What's your budget? About 400-500 euros should get you a nice ryzen cpu + motherboard.

Around 400eu would be my budget :D

are those “old” ramsticks good enough for a Ryzen build?

Those ram sticks should be fine.

Motherboard Asus - ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard €138.00 @ Paradigit

This is what I'd recommend. A Ryzen 5 2600 should give good performance in games. Plus it's nearly 100 euros below budget.

its a little over budget, but is 8 cores, 16 threads, and a ok mobo. I would recc spending 30$ more for a better motherboard, and another 50$ more for a good aftermarket cooler.

btw, can you ship things in from germany, bc there are cheaper prices there.

Amazon shipping from germany is 5 euros without amazon prime, so I'll make a list from amazon germany (its cheaper.)

I heard “better” things about the 7 also want to be a bit future proof.

If I choose a ~140€ mobo would I be able to overclock with a 50~ cooler?

Not really. The only advantage it has over the 2700 is that it overclocks better.

MediaMarkt and Amazon are good sources for PC parts. I know someone from NL who gets stuff shipped from Germany.

Great thanks! isn't the board a bit "cheap"? for over clocking?

I don't know too much about streaming, but what about getting a capture card to lower the CPU bottleneck(should there still be one) even further??

Make sure to tag and/or quote people so they get notified... :P:D
