Hello I have an issue whenever I'm on my desktop it uses 240hz GSYNC and when I'm in a game it switches to 144hz GSYNC so then I turned off GSYNC and it didn't switch I use display port any way to fix? BTW my monitor is the ASUS ROG PG258Q

Try other games with gsync turned on, try looking for posts about that specific game and 240hz.

It might need some tweaking in a settings file to change a limit or something.
