Hey Folks,

I'm a Game Streamer and I'm looking forward to upgrading my CPU.
Right now I'm getting CPU Bottlenecking in every game due to my GPU.
I'm not a fan of Overclocking so I won't be doing it.
Can you recommend which CPU should I invest in to get minimal to no bottleneck in most games ?
Below are my specs -
(PS - I'm only interested in upgrading CPU MoBo at this time)

Intel Core i5 6600 (3.3 GHz)
Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3
Nvidia RTX 2080 FE
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2400MHz DDR4
Samsung CFG24 1080p Curved Gaming Monitor 144Hz

I'm more interested in the upcoming Ryzen 3700X but I've heard that my RAM would become a Bottleneck for CPU itself.
I'm not looking for a very high priced CPU (likes of i9 9900k)

I was hoping that amd would launch Ryzen 3rd Gen yesterday at CES but that didn't happen.

If I buy Ryzen 7 2700x with X470 MB would I be able to upgrade only my CPU to 3rd Gen 3700x later on without dipping performance ?

Also, What about i7 8700k at stock ? Would running that Bottleneck my performance at 1080p 144Hz ? I'm not a fan of Overclocking at all.

So for the Ryzen next gen compatibility thing, no one to my knowledge knows if the new cpu's will work on current boards so it is a bit of a gamble and as for the 8700k it shouldn't bottleneck your gpu.

Do i Recommend Ryzen? Yes. All of the Yes.
