Windows keeps chiming

Hey,

The last couple of days every single time i power up my p.c. windows makes those chimey sounds that indicate new hardware etc , I usually hear them when installing new hardware, changing cpu frequency or ram speed etc
Now i just seem to hear it all the time.
Is there any conclusion that can be connected to those sounds?

I've had it occur when my mouse and keyboard take an extra second to show up after a reboot.  Seems to be Corsair Cue related for my stuff, but that and maybe headphones unplugging and replugging are the reason for that noise on my system.

Mouse and keyboard indeed have the same effect.

You can download software that will show you which devices are connected and which aren't, then just figure out which one keeps trying to connect/disconnect.

I'll look into that one. Lets hope this will show some clarity

No, i do use an usb internet connector but no bluetooth devices are connected.

I recognize the sound too from my ocing months. Sometimes it just hanged. it behaved exactly the same on my former p.c. but i never bothered to ask a question about the sound. I remember coming to the conclusion its connected to system stability, bios settings.

Really? do you even own a p.c. buzzinkeegs from the uk? ;)
I mean, all those sounds are only played during the the bootup of windows… its only a split second during the password phase… even if i turn of the password it won't help much because my mouse won't respond… it only works after the sound... must be motherboard related in some way.. usb channels or something like that

what's this…. your a startrooper??? you should obey son! that is a ridicilous amount of devices btw!

Yea i though that to be clear. Like, i didn't need to mention that… It has never happenend with me before though in such a scale! without any relation to what so ever that is... Today i booted up without sounds so i'm happy... maybe it was the windows update from late last night… I'll stay in touch if i have new information which i can feed back …. to enlighten and enrich everyr single contender …!!
