Adjusting Sharpness with DisplayPort

12washere

Hello,

a couple of weeks ago ( or a week ago ) i tried a new cyber cafe near my area,

there are 2 available types of Monitor to test out

the first one is;

Acer KG251QF - 144hz

the second one is;

ViewSonic XG2402 - 144hz

Note that ViewSonic didn't really get me Dizzy for at least 5Hours while acer got me dizzy for like in 1-2hours,

the Sharpness is Blurry and it suits best for my eyes.

i didn't find the answer i wanted on Google, so maybe i'll just ask it here?

i cannot find anything about adjusting monitor sharpness because i get dizzy

if i play with strong sharpness.

So my temporary solution is, i set the Monitor brightness, contrast also using

4:3 aspect ratio with 800x600p resolution

 to avoid any dizziness caused by the Monitor.

I know it's because of the DisplayPort, but is there like any methods to set the monitor sharpness?

in my Previous cyber cafe, the Monitor uses HDMI cable, some are VGA cables.

and we can adjust the sharpness.

is there any way to adjust sharpness with DisplayPort? i can play with 60/75hz monitors for along time,

but not with 144hz Monitors because the sharpness is too strong for my eyes.

Well, i think that's it for now.

Thank you people!

I'm a bit confused. How can the refresh rate impact the sharpness? It sounds like your dizzyness could be related to something with motion blur.

well,

i cannot adjust sharpness on the 144hz monitor (dp), but i can adjust sharpness on the 60/75hz monitor. since i believe the 60/75hz monitor is using hdmi / vga

note:

60hz Monitor is Samsung

Sharpness Levels

1 - 10

and i set the Sharpness at 2

144hz Monitor is Vsonic / Acer that doesn't even have sharpness adjustment options

i also turned off Motion blur ( playing csgo by the way )
