Hi,

I just watched Linus' video about the new ASUS Transformer Books, that are able to switch between Android and Windows seemlessly.

I have one question about that: Linus mentioned that those notebooks/tablets run an Intel i3/5/7 processor, which afaik all are x86/x64 based processors.

Did I miss something or did Android get a x86 portation? I thought the kernel was based on an ARM-architecture?

android supports X86 xD

i cant remember when this happened but i do remember this

Ok, I must have missed something. I know that it's based on the Linux-Kernel and therefore is theoretically able to support x86, but I don't remember to hear of a successful port, just some projects that didn't really succeed.
