Does anyone on here use StoreageCraft's ShadowProtect SPX software for back up?

 

We have a LAN with a 10GBit connection, however, backups are only running at a 5MBit speed! There is no other demand on the server during testing.

I used to manage ShadowProtect on about 40 windows server boxes. Now this issues I've not seen before. But a couple of questions I had.

 

Are you creating the original backup files locally or are you creating them directly to an ISCUSI or something like that?

 

Also from memory it had a good amount of configurable upload options such as TOD and throttling. You never mentioned, but I assume you have checked these?
