Nvidia Control Panel Resolution

Mr. Mantis

According to Nvidia Control Panel why does my monitor (AOC i2367Fh) have 60Hz, 59Hz and 50Hz modes? Couldn't they just have it 60Hz like the product specs say? Also I have it set at 60 was 59 is this ok considering its the highest refresh rate of the monitor? I would appreciate some feedback thanks.1671231171_ResolutionQuestion.JPG.bd2a53a61bfdd3b2a32894eafad41729.JPG

NTSC standard for televisions is 59.94 Hz, it supports that mode for compatibility with various other non-computer output devices (it says 59 Hz because it doesn't display decimal places in the menu, but it's 59.94 Hz internally). Same with 50 Hz, that is the PAL standard refresh rate used in Europe.

So it would run the same if I have it set at 60Hz?
