Very, very nice indeed! A fan of mech KB's, and a very recent buyer of a Ducky Shine 2 78 Version.....Ducky makes excellent mechanical KB's. I see some nice custom keycaps.......will prolly get myself some of these later.

I'm in Asia, bought mine from a local gaming peripheral shop......they have all sorts of Ducky and Filco KB's, even took a look at the Ducky Dragon. I had originally intended to simply look at the 78 and mull over it.....it's relatively expensive after all. I already have a CM Storm Trigger Cherry MX Red, and an Armaggeddon Black Hornet MKA-3 Cherry MX Red as well. So, I figured I'd just window shop, but the moment the keys lit up when it was plugged in, I was hooked......no way was I going to pass on it. Anyway, mine's 210/399, yep, only 399 were made. Anyway, here's a couple of pics for your enjoyment:

The KB just after the Ducky Shine 2 78 is the Armaggeddon MKA-3, it's not a full size KB lacking the numpad, which I don't need since it is for my 3rd rig. BTW, I'm using the wrist rest which came wioth the Armaggeddon KB, works very nicely...

Wow sick. I thought there was only 99 78 editions made, but I guess I heard wrong. Still, 399 made, and you have one of them....my friend told me the 78 sold out SUPER fast :x

Initially, I believe 78 were planned, but for whatever reason, it was increased to 399....I lucked out finding this gem, went to a few shops and none had it, though one had a Dragon which was also a limited run. A nice guy at one of the shops pointed me to a shop dealing specifically in gaming peripherals, the had exotic mice, KB's and such. And surprise, surprise, they actually had two left.........one was sold off earlier in the day. I grabbed one, and they had only one left. I love this KB, I find myself using my main rig to surf the net, other than its usual gaming, because I get a kick out of all those bling bling. Gosh, I must be getting old and regressing,,,,,,I used to go for monolithic no non-sense builds, I was using a Soldam XR-1 for ages......it's simply a solid, industrial looking case from Japan. I'm in S.E. Asia....Here's a shot of it in the dark. All my other KB's are backlit as well, just not in so many colors!
