AMD Prism Software

Hey guys,

 

I got everything set up properly on my new rig and have an AMD Prism cooler. I got the Cooler Master software for it, but I'm super confused as what mirage does. There's M1, M2, and M3. I've been fiddling with the settings and the colours change but I don't get exactly what it's doing. Can some explain how to use this mirage setting properly?

There are three sets of LEDs inside the fan. You can control how fast each set is “blinking”. I put that in parenthesis because they’re blinking so fast the human eye can’t really see them. The trick is to offset them to create spinning effects. Under M1, try setting R to 60, G to 62, and B to 58. Then look at the fan. It should have a cool effect. M2 and M3 are just save slots so you can store 3 settings. This doesn’t effect the color or overall effect (I.e breathing). 

 

Its really unfortunate that there isn’t official documentation on how to use this awesome cooler.
