Questions about ram?

I Was wondering if i should put 8GB or ram or 16GB of ram into my computer, i was going to either get a 4K 50" TV and game at full resolution or get a 50" 3D TV and game on that, i will be using a HD7970 6GB card. Thank you for your support.

4k gaming on that card? I don't think so, not with details & textures ultra anyway, as for ram, get the least now, theyr prices are huge, maybe 4 gb/8 now, and later on if you use editing software, add more, it will help you
