650w is enough?

Go to solution Solved by Mattias Edeslatt,

You have a system that draws about 400W max when gaming so there is no need to worry. Not even if you overclock the shit out of your system are you geting near of maxing out on 650W even if you add a dozen fans and dozens of HDD/SSD/ODD and RAM.

hi, i have an intel i7 8700 with the stock cooler, a 2080ti, a wifi card, 16 gb of RAM, 2 TB hhd, ssd m2 and 4 fans of 140 mm and one of 120 mm; all supported by a PSU cooler master mwe 650 +80 bronce.

Now the thing is that i want to add an air cooler but im not sure if i will surpass the limit of the PSU.

See my bio for a point of reference

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Now when you say air cooler, just replacing the stock CPU cooler?  Only the fans use power (watts) the heatsink itself wont. I'm not sure which exact model you're looking at but it shouldn't be an issue unless you're already pushing max watts
