RAM compatibility

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

Ram compability is old news.

You can pair any ram in dual channel mode, it will be tuned down to the slowest.

But better if you match the speed first then the latency.

If you cannot find one, there will be no problem.

Both of that memory have 3000mhz and CL15, just a different heatsink.

I say go ahead

Good evening,

less than year ago i bought myself a gaming PC, unfortunately my budget covered only one RAM module, as a short term solution. Now i feel is the time to buy second module, and here comes the issue. My system is R5 1600, x370, 1060, and this RAM module. But it isn't available anymore, even tried local eshops. So i'm asking how would the system work if i would buy this module, since it is also 3000mhz, cl15 and 1.35V.

I apologize for my english level, thanks for your answers.
