Hi I have a intel i7 7700k with a NZXT Kraken x62 and my idle temps are roughly around 34 C. I don’t quite understand why they are so high since AIO’s and my beefy 2 intake // 3 exhaust system should be kicking butt. Pls help

Much Appriciated!

34C at idle isn't hot at all on idle, what are your load temps you are getting as that is what will determine if the AIO is properly cooling.

My load temps are pretty good, I very rarely hit any higher than 89 C....i just figured that videos and just conversing with peers that i running hotter than them...granted they have different processors. But the issue still stands with videos showing i7 7700k with idle of 28 C or lower. Is there anything i could do in order to perhaps lower it down to at least 30 to have load temps also lessen?

I wouldn't say it's any worst in that situation for idle, you can try remounting it to see if it improves. As for load temps that is a little warm are you overclocking?

Also what case are you using if it has a very restrictive front panel that may be the cause of the slightly higher temps. An easy way to test that is to pull of the front panel to see if temps improve.

I have turbo boost aka intels stock “overclock” on. As for case problems, im using a Phanteks P400S TG for a case and don’t think thats too much of an issue...like most cases removing the front panel drops it maybe 2 C or so but not that drastic. I might consider reapplying thermal paste and remounting the AIO.

Thanks a Bunch my guy!

Is the chip downclocking and voltage dropping?

if load temps are fine, there’s nothing to worry about.

Take off the front panel you will be very surprised that is a very restricted case, it only has intakes top and bottom.
