Internet speed problem

Hi everyone,

 

I am having some issues with my bandwidth.i have 10Mbp/s connection.If i try to download a game through steam i get 3Mbps its the same with other clients too.I tried speedtest(dot)net i get 3Mbp/s.But when i try to watch a video on youtube or download files using JDownloader i get 10Mbp/s.

 

Things i tried-

Plug in the lan cable directly to my PC Ethernet port.

Booting windows in safe mode.

 

It would be a big help if anyone can help me solve the problem.

Check your steam settings are using servers in your area for downloading.  It's in Settings > Downloading > Download Region

 

Change it to one that is closest to your location.

Thanks for your reply its not only with steam jdownloader2 origin speedtest.net all show 500KBps it should be 1.2MBps
