Getting a grasp...

Finally i found some time to play warhammer 2 …
settings.. 4x, high 1080p This is probably one of the most terrifying games i have in my possession, system wise. Played for almost an hour to topple it off with a battle at the end.
system was running on the windows power plan : high performance.. i had a steam download running in the background ( found out after )
fan settings normal for the entire machine ( other options are quiet, normal , performance , all ahead full )

In MSI afterburner i set the fan control on user settings automatic which switches from hardware to software control.. On hardware mode the fan stays silent up until 60 degrees after which it slowly starts spinning its fans. Software boils down to equal numbers in temperature and fan controll … ( about )
The bad fps rating that shows before the battle commences is the framerate on the worldmap… It scrolls excellent with now and then a hickup but i noticed i managed 16 fps at a certain part ;)

57 degrees stable is not something i could be overdramatic about… atm i'm thinking of increasing the case fan count up until 6 fans.

2 140 mm's and 4 120 mm's of which three are connected to the powersupply leaving it on manual control which is low rpm and the other 3.. the 2 at the front and the exhaust are linked to the fan control program.... There are ofcourse the summermonths and oc moments :D

Here is another game.. NFSU Rivals on ultra settings but that is apparently laughable to this machine

So final conclusion..

I'm at the right path!

Sadly the msi fan is slightly noticeable at speeds over 50% rpm so I might consider sticking it at 45% when gaming, maybe even use the performance fan control mode !
