Pc wont boot with m.2 installed

mnags22

I just installed my samsung 960 evo into my msi b350m gaming pro. My windows is on my 120gb kingston 2'5 ssd. When I try to boot with my m.2 installed it wont even post to bios. It is just a dark screen and none of my peripherals even light up. I also have a ryzen 5 2400g and 16 gb of ram.

Have you tried unplugging your SATA SSD, then try booting with just the NVME one?
