alienware laptop HELP

I got a alienware 17 today for christmas and i turned the lights off earlier (i just dimmed them off command center) and when i tried to turn them back on they wont turn on. It says they are on in the command center but they are all off(the photo of the laptop the lights are on) have spent the last few hours re-installing alienware command center and stuff again and again messing around with settings but no avail dark mode etc is not turned on i really hope you guys can help im gonna contact support tomorrow but i'd love one of you guys to know the answer and fix it now. its probably something simple.
