My current rig is consists of:

Ryzen 5 2400G
Gigabyte GA-AB350N
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB)
Zotac GTX 1070ti Mini
Fractal Design Node 202
ADATA 250GB SSD

Western Digital Blue Mobile 2TB HDD

Western Digital Black Mobile 750GB HDD
Corsair SF 600W 80+ Gold
Noctua NH-L9a-AM4

I'm looking for recommendations for a potential CPU upgrade and cooling upgrade.

(Cooling upgrade: Water cooling graphics?, Different case?) (CPU upgrade may be really far into the future)

I generally use my rig is used for a completely unhealthy mix of CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD & Fusion 360), and Games (Dying Light, Rainbow Six Siege & Fallout 4 probably being the most demanding) but can foresee doing simulation work (Probably Stupid Complex Matlab and Solidwork Studies)

I currently run 2 2560 x 1440 60Hz monitors, I'm thinking about adding a 3rd 2560 x 1440 144Hz monitor. (RIP Wallet, may never happen)

I exist in Canada and my budget is around 400 CAD but is really flexible.

I'm also not absolutely against modding cases or less expensive PC parts but would prefer if mods are reversible

I have my eye on the Dan Case A4-SFX and trying to do some cooling system in that but I'm still undecided

Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Is your 2400G overclocked? If so, to what clock speeds? If it’s not overclocked the stock cooler would do fine.

What speed is your RAM running at?

The Ryzen 5 2600 would be a solid upgrade(May not be worth it unless you sell the 2400G for a good price) and you wouldn’t need a new motherboard

As for case, I’d recommend the Silverstone Sugo SG13/NZXT H200.

My 2400G isn't overclocked and I have put on a Noctua NH-L9a on it to better fit my case and to silence the jet engines in my case, my ram runs at 2666 and I do have plans to re-purpose the 2400G and the case to attempt to make a compact and quiet (kinda powerful) gaming pc.

As for cases the Silverstone Sugo SG13 and NZXT H200 both look very good but I'm trying to make something incredibly compact (like node 202 but cools better or is smaller)
