GPU cable type issue

For some reason when I'm playing games, I will get intermittent black screen and visual glitches with either displayport cables (I've tried 3 different ones) or HDMI 2.0 cables. If I use a normal HDMI cable the problem goes away. Any idea what would be causing that?

It's either your GPU drivers or your GPU itself. I would recommend that you RMA the GPU
