Asus Cerberus GTX 1070 TI

+150mhz for clock speed

+450mhz for memory speed

+15% voltage

Also 8700k OCed to 4.9ghz on 1.295v if that matters.

I've been playing AC Odyssey for days now and prior to that have had Valley Benchmark running for more than two hours without crashing. Entire days and suddenly this happens. It was the first and only crash I've had so far in any game I think with this hardware. Does it make sense for a GPU to crash only once every idk days even weeks or could it be a bug level issue?

im betting the mem is too high and the stress test didnt load up the mem on textures so you didnt notice until a game loaded it up a lot. use a bunch of tools to stress test not just one. so 3dmark on one of the 4k tests to load the mem and unigine to load the gpu once 3d mark is done and also furmark too. but i bet the clock was just at the limit and held most of the time until a really hard scene was loaded and then bam it crapped out

Yep, @Mephi00...

It depends mate, how much do you have the memory clocked at right now?

I have it on 400 i think with my 1080.

By how much?

Do 50 at first, that already helped me get it stable

Probably shouldn't over react at this point.  A single crash in hours of gaming and benchmarks is nothing.  The game crashed on my PS4 Pro a few times and that's locked down hardware.
