Mainly gaming. I play Rainbow Six Seige, insurgency: Sandstorm , Squad, Rising Storm 2 on a 1440p display

3. Monitors

Currently i have one 1 monitor. 1440p

4. Peripherals

Don't need peripherals only OS

 

CPU: I7 8700k

cpu cooler: Corsair H100i 

Mobo: Gigabyte z390m gaming

ram: Corsair vengeance LPX 3000mhz 2x8Gb

SSD: Samsung 860 Evo

PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus FX 650W

Case: Fractal Design Mini C 

 

FYI. i'm getting the parts from my country.

Is the build good? i'm considering between the 8700k and 9700k. Price difference is $50

I know i'm using an 8th gen pairing with a z390m because the shops there don't seem to be selling any. will look for a z370m when i see one. do u have any good z370m to recommend?

So the i7 9700K is $50 more than the 8700K ? If so then I would just stick with the 8700K as it is still fine for gaming.

 

That Z390 board will also be fine if you go with the 8700K.

yea, but its just the thermals i'm worried.
