FSX error message

Hey all,

 

I'm trying to play Flight Sim X (steam edition) but it keeps popping up with this error message:

I've tried re-installing the game twice, I have tried running it as admin, I've checked file integrity but still nothing works.

I have no mods installed at all. 

Anyone got an idea as to how I can fix this?

Not yet but I'll give it a go.

I've tried compatibility mode for: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 and Windows 8 but none of those worked.
