Hey, I am building a computer for my level design business. Here is a list of what I do as a level designer:

-Modeling

-Post-Processing

-Lightmapping

I should let you guys know that I require high core count. That is why I have chosen 2700x. Also I am not looking forward to buying a quadro card.

 

Some notes:

Samsung 970 Evo will be my primary driver.

I am also planning to game on this machine from time to time.

Get a Corsair or NZXT AIO. CoolerMaster ones aren't great.

That is an awfully general statement. The new Masterliquid series is getting good reviews 

 

@R.Ali,

 

Consider a B450 or X470 motherboard.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Actually I have a Logitech G230. I am buying that to see what people with poor quality headphones' sound like.

There's few things you need to change, the mobo, get a B450, perhaps the Gaming K4 if you can find a good deal, the PSU from Thermaltake is not very good get a evga or seasonic...
