Hi guys
my current PC spec:

i5 4670K
8 GB DDR3 Corsair vengeance pro
msi z87-g45
Msi R9 270x 2 gb
500 gb SSD
750 watts PSU corsaiir tx

and now I'm eyeing a XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition ver. to replace the R9 270X, the price right now is 189.

So I want your opinion on my choice or if you recommend something else more important to upgrade before the gpu

& btw I only play on 1080p resolution

That's a pretty solid upgrade.

The most I would do beyond a GPU is a CPU upgrade(4770K is a good choice), a 1 or 2TB HDD, and another 8GB of memory.

Eh, I don't know if I'd bother with the 4770k. It's still overpriced for what it is. The non k version, on the other hand, you can generally get for ~$110. And I think you can still do base clock overclocking on that gen?

I don't remember if BCLK overclocking was present on Haswell...

I know it was a thing on X58 and I think X79.

I've seen some decent 4770K bundles, but that probably does vary by area.

Thanks @Crunchy Dragon and thanks @corrado33, I'm hoping that the ram gets a little more low to get another 8 gb.

About the 4770k and non k, I've seen some non k at 150 and the k one at 230, the 60+ difference is really worth it?

Pd. the 4770 k and non k that I've seen are used.

4770K allows for overclocking.

230 is way too expensive for a used 4770K, they should have a motherboard for that price.
