Forgive me if this question has been asked before, I'm new to the forums and couldn't find anything like this that has been asked previously.
Let me get straight to the parts:

CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G
Motherboard: ASRock AB350M-HDV Socket AM4 / AMD B350 / DDR4 / M.2

RAM: Just your standard 2x4GB 2400 MHz DDR4 memory.

I can't see why the CPU and memory would have compatibility issues, but I'm starting to get kind of worried about the motherboard. Will it work out of the box? Here's a link to my motherboard if further information is needed:

The motherboard wont work out of the box(since it was originally made for first gen ryzen), however by flashing(updating) your bios it will work seamlessly.

If you want to avoid all of this hassle get a b450 mobo.

As far as ram goes pls get faster ram, 3000mhz like. Its gonna be more expensive but then ryzen likes fast ram.

I had the same issue with the ASRock AB350 Pro4 ATX and a Ryzen 5 2600. The latest stock should come BIOS updated out of the box, but if not you can always ask your retailer to check it and if needed update the BIOS with a 1st gen CPU. Hope this helps!

you don't even need a 1st gen chip, just flash the bios

Cool! But... what if it doesn't come updated out of the box? I hope this is not the case. What would be the best/easiest 1st gen CPU to update it with?

All in due time, friend. Can't afford that right now. That RAM was like, $48, will probably upgrade to more faster RAM in the future

Ok, heres a final answer,

Go with that motherboard and buy an empty usb drive.

Go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and download your latest bios on ur usb drive.

With only the mobo(no ram or cpu), connect your psu and put the usb stick in and follow the instrucyions on the motherboards website.

Make sure that ur power does'nt go out during the process, otherwise ur pretty much dead

One final question. It says it supports AMD CPUs. If I plan to use this APU with a graphics card, will it work out of the box?
