Usb storage almost full

Whenever I try to take a picture with My Xiaomi mi a1 it says that my Usb-storage is almost full and doesnt take the image. The same thing happens when i try to take a screenshot.

I have 64gb internal with a 32gb sd-card and i'm only using about 40% of that. What should i do?
