Question about Ram Sticks

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

They should work together yes. If the timings are different, they will just run at the slower of the timings, but you can likely manually tweak to get them better.

Im looking on Getting a kit of G skill DDR4 3000 Mhz 16x2 (32gb).  If i were to also put my Current kit of Gskill DDR4 16gb (8x2, 3000mhz) Would they work in the Same System?

System Specs:

Ryzen 5 1600 (3.9 GHz)

Asus X370 Prime Pro

16gb DDR4 3000 Mhz Gskill ram

GTX 1080ti

850 G3 EVGA PSU

If who are wondering... The extra ram is for rendering in Sony vegas 15 for editing...
