Q Code A9 + No display

Hey guys, i'm building a new rig and have the motherboard, ram, cpu and hdd installed but I can't get to the bios. The MB comes up with the A9 code and states HDD BIOS Setup Menu on the LED display. I'm only testing at this stage and don't have a graphics card yet, but wanted to get to the BIOS to have a play around and check everything looked ok and maybe install windows. 

 

I've connected the onboard HDMI port to the monitor via HDMI cable but not getting anything on screen?

Ignore me, I tried a smaller screen and it works ok.
